North Edge Business Financing & Community Development

North Edge has been working with the California Finance Consortium on an initiative exploring downtown revitalization across rural Northern California. Funded by Wells Fargo and led by Superior California Economic Development (SCED), the project brings together North Edge, SCED, 3CORE and Yuba-Sutter EDC to examine eight Northern California communities.

North Edge seeks proposals from qualified consultants, research firms, universities, or interdisciplinary teams to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the barriers and capacity gaps limiting business growth and expansion within Humboldt County.

North Edge is an Economic Development Corporation that provides business financing and community development throughout Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Siskiyou, and Trinity Counties. We exist to invest in businesses, communities, and people in ways that create a resilient and equitable economy for our region. We have several designations. We are a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), a Certified Development Company (SBA 504 lender), and a 501 C-3.
